Newcastle Vikings’ men’s team have been drawn at home against Fulham in the first preliminary round of the England Handball Association 2015/16 League Cup. The knock-out match will be played on the afternoon of Saturday 23 January 2016 at the Temple Park Leisure Centre in South Shields.
The winners of that game will then travel away to face the winners of the Peninsula-Oxford qualifier in the quarter-finals round on the weekend of 20/21 February 2016.
Meanwhile, the Vikings have been awarded a bye in the quarter-finals of the women’s League Cup competition, so will progress straight to the semi-finals round to be played on the weekend of 23/24 April 2016.
